Work items

A work item is one message going through one workflow. It has its own progress, history and reference, such as RS-4F7K2XQ9, and it ends with a record in MCS, a reply, or a clear reason why not.

Several documents in one file

When one PDF holds several documents, such as a batch of invoices, each becomes its own work item, and each runs the rest of the workflow.

The reference

Every work item has a reference starting RS-. It appears in the subject of every email Rent Stream AI sends, on the record created in MCS (if your company has named a custom field for it), and on files filed in MCS. Search the inbox by reference to find a work item.
