Connecting

Before you start

Contact MCS to have the MCP server enabled for your MCS system. We will give you the server address to use and set up which MCS user each connection works as.

Adding it to Claude

1. In Claude, open Settings and then Connectors.
2. Choose Add custom connector.
3. Enter a name, such as "MCS", and the server address we gave you.
4. Sign in when asked.

The MCS tools are then available in your conversations.

Other AI assistants

Any assistant that supports remote MCP servers can connect in the same way, using the same server address.

Checking the connection

Ask the assistant "Who am I connected as in MCS?". It will tell you the MCS user, database and depot the connection works with.
